Bascules Robbe NV installs bagging line for open-mouth bags and bigbags at FISCE (Acomo group)
Companies within the Acomo Group are engaged in the global sourcing, trading, handling, processing, packaging and distribution of conventional and organic niche food products and ingredients for the food and beverage industry.
FISCe (Food Ingredients Service Center Europe), as a subsidiary of Acomo, operates in the food industry. The specialization of FISCe is to carry out an externally validated pathogen reduction process and it is for the benefit of low moisture products such as spices, dried herbs, edible seeds, cereals, dried vegetables and legumes.
New filling line
For the new packaging line, Bascules Robbe NV was called upon to design and supply a bagging machine with sealer and discharge conveyors. A big bag filler was also provided so that both open-mouth bags and big bags can be filled with this installation.
After the bags are filled, they are automatically sealed and then discharged through a series of conveyors. In the process, they also go through a metal detector. The entire turn-key project was carried out by Bascules Robbe NV in-house.
