Filling machine with built-in lift weigher
For a West Flemish company that is active in frozen food, Robbe Industries has built two custom lift weighers. These machines fill octabins with frozen articles. The weighing roller conveyors are adjusted in the height automatically via a built-in lift system. This way, multiple types of boxes and octabins with different heights can be filled.
The engineering of these filling machines was customized for the end customer in order to fit in the existing lay-out of the company. As the end customer is a major player in the food industry, we paid a lot of attention to the hygienic design of these machines. All mechanical components are concealed and integrated but can still be easily cleaned.
The filling machines were calibrated as Automatic Weighing Instrument by Robbe Industries for commercial purposes. Therefore, the weight of the filled octabins can be used for invoicing. Robbe Industries SA is authorized for this, both for the Belgian and Dutch market.
These filling machines are also connected by means of an ERP system of the end customer. This way, the filling of the octabins can be done automatically in a secure zone. Each octabin has a unique code and the exact filling weight is connected to this code.
